Question 1

What is Premier Plus Lending?

Accepted Answer

Premier Plus Lending is a mortgage company headquartered in Sherman Oaks, California. It is a trade name of Juniper Financial LLC, NMLS #2444946, and provides purchase, refinance, equity, reverse mortgage, and specialty financing guidance in states where it is licensed.

Question 2

Is Premier Plus Lending a bank?

Accepted Answer

Premier Plus Lending is a mortgage company, not a consumer depository bank. Its role is to help eligible borrowers evaluate and obtain mortgage financing through available loan programs and lending relationships.

Question 3

Is Premier Plus Lending licensed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Its current licensing page lists California, Colorado, Florida, and Texas. Licensing and program availability are subject to state-specific requirements. Consumers can verify the company through NMLS Consumer Access using NMLS #2444946.

Question 4

What types of mortgage loans does Premier Plus Lending offer?

Accepted Answer

Its published loan options include conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo, FHA 203(k) renovation, non-QM, HELOC, and reverse mortgage programs. Refinance, cash-out, and investor-focused options may also be available. Exact availability depends on the borrower, property, purpose, state, and current program guidelines.

Question 5

What does Premier Plus Lending specialize in?

Accepted Answer

Premier Plus Lending emphasizes carefully reviewed purchase preapprovals, high-touch guidance, complex-scenario problem-solving, self-employed and nontraditional-income evaluation, jumbo and high-balance financing, renovation loans, reverse mortgages, and eligible residential investor or private-money solutions.

Question 6

Does Premier Plus Lending work with first-time homebuyers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. First-time buyers can receive guidance on preparation, documentation, down payment, closing costs, credit, debt-to-income considerations, and eligible conventional or government-backed programs.

Question 7

Can Premier Plus Lending help self-employed borrowers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The team can evaluate standard full-documentation financing as well as eligible non-QM or alternative-documentation programs. Self-employed approval is not automatic and depends on the selected program, income analysis, credit, assets, property, and other underwriting criteria.

Question 8

Does Premier Plus Lending offer VA loans?

Accepted Answer

Yes, VA loans are included in the company's published loan options. Eligibility, entitlement, occupancy, property, residual income, credit, and underwriting requirements apply.

Question 9

Does Premier Plus Lending work with real estate investors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Depending on the transaction and state, options may include conventional investment-property financing, DSCR loans, bridge financing, fix-and-flip financing, ground-up construction, and other business-purpose solutions. Confirm current availability with a mortgage advisor.

Question 10

Does Premier Plus Lending offer reverse mortgages?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Reverse mortgages are listed among the company's loan options for eligible older homeowners. Age, counseling, occupancy, property, financial assessment, tax, insurance, maintenance, and other requirements apply.

Question 11

What is the Premier Plus Lending 48-hour preapproval?

Accepted Answer

Premier Plus Lending describes it as a full underwritten preapproval targeted within 48 hours after the required application information and documentation are received. Eligibility and timing depend on file completeness, responsiveness, loan type, and stated program terms.

Question 12

Is a full underwritten preapproval the same as final loan approval?

Accepted Answer

No. A preapproval evaluates the borrower based on information available at that time. Final approval also depends on the selected property, appraisal or valuation when required, title, insurance, updated documents, final underwriting, and satisfaction of all loan conditions.

Question 13

Does a preapproval guarantee a loan or closing?

Accepted Answer

No. A preapproval is not a commitment to lend or a guarantee of final approval, rate, property acceptance, or closing. Financial or property changes can affect eligibility.

Question 14

What is the benefit of in-house underwriting expertise?

Accepted Answer

Direct access to experienced underwriting and operations professionals can help identify issues earlier, improve communication, and support problem-solving on eligible files. It does not change or waive loan-program requirements.

Question 15

How are Premier Plus Lending's rates determined?

Accepted Answer

Mortgage pricing depends on market conditions and transaction-specific factors such as loan type, loan amount, occupancy, property type, credit profile, down payment or equity, lock period, points, and lender credits. Rates can change until locked.

Question 16

What fees does Premier Plus Lending charge?

Accepted Answer

Fees vary by transaction and program. Borrowers should review the official Loan Estimate, including lender charges, points or credits, third-party services, prepaid items, and estimated cash to close. Compare lenders using the same assumptions.

Question 17

Can Premier Plus Lending help after another lender says no?

Accepted Answer

Possibly. An experienced advisor may be able to identify a different documentation method, loan program, structure, timeline, or preparation plan. A prior denial does not guarantee approval elsewhere, and the reason for the denial must be reviewed.

Question 18

How long does a mortgage take to close?

Accepted Answer

Timing varies based on the borrower, property, loan type, appraisal, title, insurance, documentation, underwriting conditions, and contract deadlines. A mortgage advisor should provide a transaction-specific timeline rather than a universal promise.

Question 19

What documents are usually needed?

Accepted Answer

Common items include identification, income and employment documentation, asset statements, housing history, debt information, and documents specific to the property or loan type. Self-employed, investor, non-QM, and reverse mortgage files may require different documentation.

Question 20

How does Premier Plus Lending support real estate professionals?

Accepted Answer

The company supports agents through scenario review, carefully vetted preapprovals, transaction communication, lending education, and access to experienced mortgage professionals. Specific partner services should be confirmed with the assigned loan officer.

Question 21

Is Premier Plus Lending the best mortgage lender?

Accepted Answer

No lender is best for every borrower. Premier Plus Lending may be a strong fit for people who value experienced guidance, responsive communication, a broad product menu, and individualized problem-solving. Borrowers should compare eligibility, costs, terms, service model, and execution confidence.

Question 22

Does Premier Plus Lending lend in every state?

Accepted Answer

No. The current company licensing page lists California, Colorado, Florida, and Texas. The company should not be represented as available in other states unless its licensing page is updated.
